Escape rooms are the newest form of entertainment. In every escape room scenario, a puzzle-solving team made up of 2-10 people enters a themed room and has 60 minutes to solve the clues that will “unlock” the door. Within each room are puzzles, clues, and codes that must be deciphered. Sometimes a clue leads to another puzzle, a concealed compartment, a hidden clue or even a way out. All with the pulse-pounding thrill of trying to beat the clock.

Our standard rate is $29 per person.

We do not exactly have specific, set hours. Our booking software offers the customer a multitude of time slots and booking opportunities for each day. However, if you want to book a room for a day or time that does not seem available online, just give us a call at (775) 683-9900 and we will work with you and your team’s schedule.

Our Dr. Ensaine, Virginia City Haunt, Twisted Treatment, The Demon Barber, Zombie30 and Sinister Island rooms are, yes. These rooms have a creepy storyline and frightful décor. However, if that is not your thing, we offer 11 other wonderful options for you to choose from. Our other rooms have different types of restrictions so please make sure to read the description of each room for specific details.

It varies; some rooms can accommodate just 2 players, while some are designed to hold up to 10 and Magician’s Heist can accommodate large groups up to 20.

No. In our lobby, we provide lockable lockers for your personal items. We try to minimize the variables in each of our rooms and wish to keep our secrets secret.

You may be required to read text as a part of some of our clues, so if you require reading glasses we suggest bringing those. It can be chilly from time to time in our rooms so a sweater might be advisable if you’re susceptible to the cold.

Participants have 60 minutes to solve all the clues and puzzles within the room. Players should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled play time. Should your group be more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled escape room time, Key & Code reserves the right to shorten your 60-minute gameplay.

Tickets are purchased online. Online bookings are made securely through FareHarbor and require credit or debit card information at the time of purchase. Each game has a maximum number of tickets that can be purchased for each session. Alternatively, you can give us a call at (775) 683-9900 and we will set up your reservation over the phone.

We ask groups to arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. Should your group be more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled escape room time, Key & Code reserves the right to shorten your 60-minute gameplay.

Yes, in order to reserve the room and time slot all bookings must be paid in full at time of reservation.

By just booking the room minimum, you have secured your reservation and other members of your group can pay upon arrival. You can also split payments for a single reservation by giving us a call at (775) 683-9900.

Yes, however, for all guests, we ask that the puzzles remain a mystery to all new teams, so please do not spoil the fun and share the answers with anyone. If you succeed, try your skills in another room!

Yes, the suggested age to play the game is 10 years old or more. If you are under the age of 15, we REQUIRE that you are accompanied by an adult. Minors under the age of 18 are required to have a signed waiver completed by a parent or guardian. The games are difficult and created with the intent to stump players!

Every player will need to have a signed waiver. A link to the waiver is included in your email and/or text confirmations, as well as, any reminder notifications regarding your booking. Please make sure to share your specific waiver link with all the members of your booking.
If you didn’t make the booking but are attending, please contact the individual whom made the booking as they will have the specific link to your waiver.

YES! You may purchase gift cards in any denomination on-site at our Legends locations – 1420 Scheels Drive | Suite E-108 and 1180 Scheels Drive | Suite B-103. Lucky gift card recipients can book their experience whenever they wish! You can also purchase gift certificates online by using the link in the menu.

After you have selected your room, date, and number of players, you will notice to the left of the total amount is a small gift card icon and the words ‘apply a gift card.’ Click that icon or verbiage and enter your 20 digit gift card number in ALL CAPS and including the dashes.

Yes. Each room does have a minimum number of players. Check the room descriptions for specific details or our booking system will have that defaulted when you are ready to book online. Keep in mind, it is difficult to solve the room without the camaraderie of others.

We usually can slide 1 or 2 more people in. Just give us a call at (775) 683-9900 to make arrangements.

No. We do not place you into a group with other guests if your team does not fill the maximum. We have placed a minimum on each room and that time is yours. We will not force you or your team to play with strangers.

The first puzzle is finding us! But here’s your spoiler, we are located within the Outlets at Legends in Sparks, NV next to Forever 21 on the exterior (street) side of the mall, across from Fuddruckers. Our second location is across from the IMAX Theater.
The Summit Mall location is next to the Century Theatres.
